Day 1
Arrive in Bissau, the capital city of Guinea Bissau. Head to the hotel. Depending on arrival time, the tour of the city could begin.

Day 2 - Bissau City Tour
After breakfast, you will visit the fishing port where several boats come in to meet marketeers for the exchange of goods and services. It’s a memorable scene. Bissau as a formal colonial country, has many proofs of colonial footprints. You will visit the colonial seat of formal Portuguese governors which is currently used as Military base, the current presidential palace, craft market and many more.

Day 3 - Transfer by boat to the Island of Bubaque
In the morning, head to the port to bord the boat and head to Bubaque (Bijagós Archipelago), to explore some of the beautiful islands in the region.

Day 4: - Bijagós Islands Tour
You will visit the upper area of the Orango National Park, the Acapa Imbone region where we can see great concentrations of species such as Larus genei, Sterna caspia, Sterna maxima, Gelochelidon nilotica, Platalea alba. Lunch at the Orango Parque Hotel. After we will walk to the tabanka of Eticoga, to immerse ourselves in the bijago culture and find out more about some of the cooperation projects are carrying out there.

Day 5 - Transfer to Bissau City and Gabu
We will return by boat to Bissau with a duration journey of approximately 5 hours, and then take the car till Gabu. Gabu is a city located not so far from the border, overnighting here makes it easier to cross the border in time and proceed to Labe (the Capiltal of Fouta Djallon, the Fulani region). Night in Gabu. Road distance today: 190km

Day 6 - Transfer to Labe
In the morning, you will head to the border to go through immigration of both Guinea-Bissau and Guinea. This border is not very frequented so it’s much faster to get done with paperwork. Today we will drive through the dirt roads until arriving in Kundara where you will get on the tarmac road which leads you to Labe, at the heart of the Fouta Djallon mountains. Day 7 - Day Tour of Labe (Fouta Djallon)
In the morning, you will visit Fouta Djallon cultural museum where you will learn a lot about the culture of the Fulani people. You will visit market and the 2-in-1 waterfall (Kambadaga Waterfall) located just a few miles from Labe city. From the waterfall, you will proceed to see villages in the region to have a great understanding of the rural life of the Fulani people, who are traditionally engaged in cow herding. After the visit, you will proceed to Dalaba to overnight. Road distance: 95km

Day 8 - Day Tour of Dalaba (Fouta Djallon)
Visit Dalaba, the colonial retreat of the French. When the French colonized Guinea, they used Dalaba to retreat from heat and all the stress of their occupation. The climate of this region is cold coming as low as 16 Celsius. It’s an ideal place for westerners.

Day 9 - Arrival in Conakry
Early in the morning, you will leave Dalaba to begin the long journey to Conakry, the capital city of Guinea. The scenery is incredible with green forest and high mountain ranges. It is in this region, some of Guinea’s highest mountains are found. Road distance: 310km

Day 10 - Day Tour of Conakry
Conakry day tour begins with a visit to the National Museum, the Colonial Catholic Church, the Presidential Palace, the Large Madina Market, Le Mosque Fayi Sal - the grand mosque of Conakry constructed by a Saudi King. You will visit Soumba Waterfall on the outskirts of Conakry. Nightlife, we find a nice local musical concert or a nightclub to visit.

Day 11 - Kassa Island
You will transfer to Kassa Island in the Îles de Los (Los Islands) by boat to visit the former French retreat, still a popular weekend destination for Conakry residents. This beach island holds great history of Colonial France. Here you will see the Fotoba prison, where prisoners from all over French west Africa were subjected to hard labor. Have lunch and return to Conakry to overnight and prepare for next day journey.

Day 12: -Journey to Freetown
Today we will cross the border from Guinea to Sierra Leone. We arrive in Freetown where you will use the rest of the day for leisure from your beachside hotel. Road distance: 310km

Day 13 - Freetown Day Tour
After breakfast, we will journey to the city center to visit the famous Cotton Tree (a 500 year Old tree in the middle of a roundabout), National Railway Museum, Sierra Leone National Museum, St. George’s Cathedral, Sierra Leone Peace Museum, King’s Gate (More like the gate of no return at the time of slavery), The First Highest Education Institution of West Africa, Furabay College, Tambakula Arts and Crafts Center etc...

Day 14 - Visit to Banana Island
After breakfast, take up your water shoes to prepare a for wooden boat ride. We head to Kent, a coastline village, in the morning to get on a boat to Banana Island, an island used between sixteenth to eighteenth hundred as a vening to our hotel in Freetown.

Day 15 - Visit the Chimps Sanctuary
Last day you will visit the chimp sanctuary in Freetown. The chimps were rescued from the communities where they were held by people.
